The assassination of Mahatma Gandhi also meant the killing and exodus of Brahmins in Maharashtra. We wonder why the modern media refuses to talk about that:

In today’s highly controversial piece of writing, I am going to talk about the reason such a high percentage of Brahmins left India in recent times, especially for the southern part of India. Apart from the main objective of this article, I am also going to talk about how foreign journals despite covering the issue in-depth, had it laid out in a manner that showcases the Brahmin population both at the receiving end and the perpetrator of the issue?

Let’s first look into the major reasons Brahmins of southern India found it the best option to move out of India:

Amplification of political hatred against the community in the southern part of India:

Most of us who lived in the southern part of India or have read about a political figure named E V. Ramasamy knows about the slogan that was famous around the same time as his political dominance in Tamil Nadu, “If you see a Brahmin and a snake, kill the Brahmin first”. They led many other similar political campaigns around the same time, and Brahmins, as the priest community was not only cornered but also hunted down in the state.

To put the extent of this hatred into perspective, EVR had warned Brahmins through one of his articles in his magazine to opt for a course of correction or they would end up in the same place how the Jews were being treated by Hitler and Nazi Germany.

His bad faith towards the community also led him and the whole of south India to destroy caste discrimination by burning the pictures of Nehru and Gandhi and also the constitution of India. He advised people to burn houses and shops owned by the community if this doesn’t work. Not only that, he called Ambedkar a sell-out for the Priest class.

He was not the only one, and that was not the only time when the community had to struggle in utter silence.

There are indeed many occasions when true, state-sponsored terrorism was used to scare off the community. After the assassination of Gandhi, hatred towards the entire community increased because of Godse’s caste. Godse belonged to the Chitpawan community. The community-owned relevant positions are culturally and economically. The premeditated execution of violence against the community now had a better reason. No matter how the left in today’s society asks people to focus on individuality and give up on caste narratives, they have held no one accountable for how the Chitpawan community was wronged.

People of the community were killed in cold blood at the hands of the Maharashtra Congress. There were a lot of local Marathas along with the Jains and Lingayats influenced by the congress, who took advantage of this situation and killed and forced Chitpawan brahmins to leave the state. This was happening across 300 districts of 13 talukas in total. Yet there was no major attention drawn to this incident by the local newspaper. International newspapers, however, joined in and reported the incident with their hints as if the poor people had brought it on themselves.

The same mob killed Narayan Savarkar, the younger brother of Veer Savarkar, by pelting stones at him.

This led to a large-scale exodus of Brahmins in the area. Those who were wealthy left the country altogether and went to the US and other countries. Others moved to areas far from the city.

In present-day India, the community suffers from atrocities at the hands of foreign NGOs and neglect and disrespect that’s shown towards the Hindu deities. While the missionaries continue to run their operations by influencing the poor, underprivileged Dalit Hindus to take part in this social, economic, and cultural crucifixion.

Note: This article isn’t aimed towards comparing the struggles of Hindus and different classes within, however demands the reader have an aim look at the past and present to achieve the equal society that all of us deserve and demand.
